Campus
Idol*
All
Campus Party
Tuesday,
April 20 th at 7 pm at the Overture Center
Description:
Soulful bellowing? We got that. High notes? For sure. A fellow student’s
rendition of “Man, I Feel Like a Woman”? We hope not, but we’re
not making any promises.
Ten
contestants will compete, but only one will walk away with twice
as many Facebook friends.
This
will be a little different than the American Idol from TV. The MadHatters
will be there to keep it classy and unlike the television show,
Ryan Seacrest isn’t invited. Our contestants may not be famous singers
quite yet — but it’s not like you’re Simon Cowell, so it works out.
After the show, you control the destiny of the 10 contestants when
you text in your vote; enjoy the two-minute power trip.
If
you feel that you belong on the stage and not in the audience, you’re
invited to audition to perform and bring down the house with your
talent!
All
auditions will be held in the Rotunda Studio at the Overture Center
on:
*
Tuesday April 6, 6-9 p.m.
*
Thursday April 8, 3-6 p.m.
*
Saturday April 10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
