Community Service and philanthropy have long been an integral part of the Greek Community on the UW campus. We pride ourselves on playing an active role in both the University and Madison areas at large. Park clean ups, blood drives, and volunteering are a few of the ways we get involved. Through our involvement in campus cleanups, blood drives and Humorology we have dedicated hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours to causes including Camp Heartland, a camp which benefits kids affected by HIV/AIDS, Dean of Students Crisis Fund, and the Rape Crisis Center to mention a few.
As a PHA/IFC
executive board, our goal is to encourage and facilitate Greek involvement
in community-wide activities and to heighten awareness on issues
which affect the UW Greek system. If your goal in attending the
University of Wisconsin is not only to service yourself by receiving
a topnotch education, but also to serve the Madison community as
a whole, we encourage you to participate in the Wisconsin Greek
Community’s recruitment process.
