Brotherhood Info: Throughout the year we promote our Brotherhood with our Active members, Pledges, and Alumni through various house events such as Super Saturdays during the football season and with brotherhood nights at the house throughout the year, also with possible walkouts to other chapters of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity.

Philanthropy Info: To ensure a well rounded college experience, the brothers participate in community service events including Trick or Treat with the Greeks, Toys for Tots, Humorology, Project give, and HipHop4Hope.

Academic Info: Kappa Sigmas dedication to scholastic achievement is evident by our 3.21 house GPA and excellent graduation rate. With many distinguished alumni such as Bob Dole, Jimmy Buffet, Sam Donaldson, Robert Redford and many others, active members have access to numerous scholarship and internship opportunities that are invaluable during a college education.

Founding Beliefs, History: Founded in 1869, the Kappa Sigma Fraternity has over 284 active chapter affiliates. The Beta Epsilon Chapter was founded here at the University of Wisconsin in 1898. Kappa Sigma is committed to scholarship, brotherhood, and personal growth and development. We participate in many extracurricular activities such as intramural sports, community service, and numerous social events. Recently our four story house found overlooking Lake Mendota had $2 million in renovations in 1998, including air conditioning, high speed internet, as well as some interior remodeling. The house has a large basement area for social functions, a patio and dock, and a game room equipped with a pool table, ping-pong table, darts, and a big screen TV.
