Community Service & Philanthropies

Each year Alpha Phi hosts two events, “Red Dress Gala” and “Heart and Sole 5K Run/Walk”. Money raised at these events is donated to the Alpha Phi Foundation, which helps fund research and educational programs that support women’s cardiac health.

Mission

Alpha Phis are members of a lifelong sisterhood, formed from true and loving friendships.  Beginning with our ten founders at Syracuse University in 1872, Alpha Phi has grown to become an international organization with over 140 chapters. The traditions, sisterhood, and love our founders felt all those years ago, continues to ring true in the hearts of thousands of women today.  Our values rest on promoting sisterhood, scholarship, service, loyalty, character development and leadership, all of which encourage our members to reach their true potential.
